Application

The key to success of any development initiative is the opportunity individuals take to apply what they have learned.  Organizations that systematically create opportunities for individuals to apply new skills or concepts, and then to hold those individuals accountable for this new knowledge, demonstrate a greater degree of success than those organizations who are more haphazard in their application.

In order to assist organizations become more systematic in applying key learning, Emerge has created a suite of action plans and other application instruments.  When organizations institutionalize their dialogue around application, these tools create incredible power for individual success, at the same time organizations typically realize significant positive developments to key business outcomes.

Transition Assignment

During the course of The Leadership Transition workshop, individual participants are given the opportunity to identify and structure a specific job-related assignment or project that they can use as the key tool to help them become more effective leaders.  This assignment is to be selected from the existing work-flow of the individual, but with the addition of specific tracking and team member involvement opportunities, this assignment can help to create significant leverage in becoming a more impactful leader.

Transition Action Plan

This participant-driven transition plan is developed in the Leadership Transition workshop and enables participants to utilize the feedback from their Transition Track Assessment as well as the learning in the workshop to focus on the critical behaviors that will enable them to maximize their impact and contribution to the organization.

Engagement Action Plan

This engagement plan, an outcome of the Maximizing Your Engagement workshop, enables participants to link the feedback from their Engagement Track Assessment to the learning from the workshop to prepare for a discussion with their manager on ways that they can maximize the utilization of their unique talents to drive team and organizational outcomes.
